Studio Piccolo hosts a new format for intimate events, in the large room of Studio A.
Shows, launches, conferences, workshops, public filming... Stay tuned for upcoming events.

THE PICCOLO SESSIONS – FIRST EDITION

Last chance to attend this series of intimate studio concerts! Come see these one-of-a-kind live performances and discover—or rediscover—artists of all genres and styles.

We wrap up the evening with THÉO THÉO! With a warm, familiar vibe, Théo Théo takes you to a rather eclectic “grandma’s basement,” yet one that’s deeply rooted in Quebec folk music. He dabbles in gypsy, New Orleans, klezmer, Latin, and other styles, but always lands back on his solid Quebec feet.

THE PICCOLO SESSIONS – FIRST EDITION

A third extraordinary evening of entertainment to warm our hearts and spirits, in collaboration with our friends at @jaunematante—we’re kicking things off with a double bill of jazz: DART BREAKS and LUCKY CHEMISTRY

Dart Breaks is a unique project that blends jazz, hip-hop, rock, and pop, led by Maxime Jutras.

Lucky Chemistry is a Montreal-based collective at the intersection of jazz fusion and hip-hop, drawing inspiration from funk, jazz, R&B, and Latin music.

THE PICCOLO SESSIONS – FIRST EDITION

We continue this first edition of the Piccolo Sessions with our second guest band: CHIENS DOG

Hailing from Dorion, Quebec, Les Chiens Dog write songs that could be featured in the spaghetti westerns of the future. It’s a raw, patchwork rock sound—a sort of post-apocalyptic jazz that accompanies lyrics in which everything quietly falls apart.

THE PICCOLO SESSIONS – FIRST EDITION

We’re hosting live music nights at the studio in June! We wanted to create warm, intimate evenings featuring a variety of guest artists who share our desire to come together at the legendary Studio Piccolo. Come see these unique shows and discover or rediscover artists of all genres and styles. We’re kicking things off with our first collaboration of the summer: CHAUDE CHALEUR!

Hailing from Montreal, Chaude Chaleur offers a skillful blend of R&B, neo-soul, disco, and jazz that alternately brings tears to the eyes, sends shivers down the spine, and gets the dance floor moving.

June 5, 2026, 8:00 p.m. (doors open at 7:30 p.m.)

Solarium is a quartet of young musicians from McGill and Concordia Universities: Karl-André Rozankovic on keyboards, Vincent Dessureault on double bass, Louis Plouffe on saxophones and Léo Minville on drums. Solarium's music combines a modern approach with the ardor of '60s jazz and youth.
